It disgusts me that the YDN refused to publish peices by GESO members this week because of the claikm that Shalini's piece made them redundant. Most of the opinion peices in today's paper - particularly rachel wasser's response to Kirchick's ridiculously self-important and slavish attack on the levin-wmd protest, were surprisingly good, but could easily have been published tomorrow or the day after. With an NLRB decision looming and things heating up at schools throughout the country, graduate student unionization and pay equity, which is an issue of importance for everyone on this campus, merit discussion.
