The state banking commission has approved the NHSB conversion plan without a depositor vote.

Bill Meyerson, spokesman for the Connecticut Center for a New Economy, said union officials plan to continue pursuing an injunction against the conversion, and will urge union members to withdraw their money from the bank. He said the bank should have allowed its depositors to vote.
