Clarification: I don't really fit Kirchick's mold for all that's wrong with the left. I don't fetishize "diplomacy to the point of endangering our national security and the security of millions of others." Fuck diplomacy, i believe in nonviolent direct action. Let's liberate 22 million newly colonized iraqis and 250 million Americans yearning for freedom from not only an illegitimate president, but from capitalist accumulation and state tyrranny as well.
