The YDN page is down, so I can't link to their article about the Albertus Magnus protest yesterday, but suffice to say that this fight is not over, that we will be in the streets until we have won justice for working people in New Haven, and that Zaccagnino, Macnamara, and Marvin Lender need to rectify the way they've been doing business, because it's not acceptible any longer.

The
NLRB has issued formal complaints against the congress plaza hotel in Chicago for illegal wage cuts and failure to bargain. Workers at the Congress have been on strike for nearly four months. You can read more about the strike
here.
Looks like a tentative agreement has been reached in the Chicago trash haulers' strike. The contract, reached through mediation, would give workers a 28% increase in wages and benefits over five years. We'll know how the vote turned out tomorrow.
